Infusion Materials
Pick the profile, we’ll work it in.
Not sure which fits your product? Tell us the potency or effect you’re after and we’ll recommend one.
Distillate
Highly refined, very high THC percentage, minimal natural flavor unless terpenes are reintroduced afterward. The most consistent potency option we offer.
Resin
Extracted from fresh-frozen flower, keeps more of the plant’s original terpene profile than distillate does.
Rosin (Solventless)
Heat-and-pressure extraction, no chemical solvents involved. Generally the highest cost of the five.
Liquid Diamonds
Crystalline THCA suspended in a liquid terpene base. The most potency-forward option on this list.
Kief
The least processed option, a moderate potency lift at the lowest added cost.
Terpenes aren’t a standalone option: they’re always an add-on to whichever material above you pick. Two real choices: cannabis-derived terpenes (CDT) come from the plant itself and stay strain-true to the actual flower, our preferred option wherever a customer doesn’t have a strong preference, though they cost more. Botanical terpenes come from non-cannabis sources and hit flavors CDT can’t, like blue raspberry or sour gummy. We offer both.
Infused & Coated
A second layer on top of any infused pre-roll: kief or diamond coating, bound and cured before shipping. This is its own product entirely, with its own specs and its own High 5’s connection. Infused & Coated Pre-Roll Manufacturing covers it in full.

Flower tier drives your base cost. Outdoor is field-grown and least expensive, with more batch-to-batch variation from weather and pests. Mixed-light (greenhouse, supplemental lighting) sits in the middle on cost and consistency. Indoor is fully environment-controlled, the most consistent option, and the most expensive. A trim blend brings cost down on top of any tier: flower and trim get ground together to the same mesh size, so the finished pre-roll shows no visible or textural difference. Trim is sometimes slightly lower in THC than the bud it came from, but not always, and most of it is simply flower that fell off during trimming and wasn’t sellable as a standalone bud.
Cone and paper choice comes down to budget versus branding. Stock cones get a clean, unbranded product out fastest and cheapest. Custom cones take longer but put your actual brand on the paper itself.
Process
Six stages, one more step than straight flower.
-
Quote & Sign
MOQ, pricing tier, and timeline all get fixed in writing before anything moves.
-
Onboarding
Specs, vendor qualification, label review, METRC setup, plus your infusion type (and coating blend, if applicable) get locked in.
-
Inputs Land
Your flower, packaging, or labels arrive, or we source them, including the infusion material itself.
-
Pre-Production Sample
You approve a sample before we run full production. Nothing scales up until you’ve signed off on it.
-
Manufacture
Flower is infused, rolled, and, for coated product, coated and cured for 24 hours before packing.
-
Release
Every batch gets tested before it ships, regardless of who supplied the inputs. That’s not negotiable.
Lead time follows the same logic as our non-infused line: 2 to 4 weeks if you supply everything, 8 to 12 weeks if we source everything, most orders somewhere in between.
Daily capacity runs in three tiers: up to 15,000 non-infused, up to roughly 12,000 infused (about 20% less, same line, just running at a slower machine speed), and up to 10,000 infused & coated, produced by a completely separate hand-coating team with its own independent ceiling, not a fraction of the infusion line’s capacity. And when we’re sourcing the infusion material itself, finding the right concentrate or terpene supplier for your spec, that step alone tends to take longer than sourcing flower, since it’s a narrower, more specialized market.
Labels & Packaging
Same system, one number that matters more.
Infused product runs on the same print-and-apply system as everything else we build, with potency carrying more weight on the label since that’s usually the whole reason a brand chose infusion in the first place. Lab results take 7 to 12 days, and most brands don’t hold their primary label design for them: waiting adds two weeks nobody wants. Your primary label carries the brand design; a separate print-and-apply label carries the batch-specific numbers: THC%, CBD%, TAC%, lot number, manufacture and expiration dates, solvents used, plus the mandatory METRC RUID, applied in-house the same day results land.
We’ll work with you during onboarding to make sure your packaging reserves the right space for it. If you’d rather handle both labels yourself, fully print-ready and OCM Part 128 compliant, that works too.

Verify Before You Sign
Verifying Any Manufacturer in This Category
People quoting capacity they don’t have, or citing a license that isn’t theirs, is a real problem in this category. Before you sign with anyone, check three things.
- The actual license number. Ours: Tier 2 Processor OCM-PROC-24-000200 and Distributor OCM-DIST-25-000134, both verifiable on the state’s cannabis dashboard.
- The facility address tied to that license. Ours: 55 Corbin Avenue, Bay Shore, NY.
- Whether they can produce a real METRC registration for the batch, not just a promise one exists.
Vague answers on any of those three are the tell.

Looking for a CBD Manufacturer?
Not selling THC? Just need CBD? We can do that too: same production lines, same specs, no cannabis license required to buy or sell.
Infused Pre-Roll Manufacturing FAQ
What’s the difference between distillate, resin, rosin, and liquid diamonds?
Distillate is the most refined and most consistent on potency. Resin keeps more of the plant’s natural terpene profile. Rosin is solventless, generally the priciest. Liquid diamonds are the most potency-forward. Kief and terpenes are usually paired with one of the four above rather than used alone.
Does a trim blend still work on an infused pre-roll?
Yes. Flower and trim get ground together to the same mesh size before anything else happens, so there’s no meaningful difference between the two by the time infusion goes on. See Pre-Roll Manufacturing for the full explanation of what trim actually is and why it’s a real cost saving, not a quality downgrade.
Where can I find coating and binder details?
Infused & coated is its own page now, with the full binder, coating, and cure breakdown: Infused & Coated Pre-Roll Manufacturing.
Can I mix infusion types in one batch?
Most orders use one infusion type per batch for consistency. Talk to us about your specific goal and we’ll tell you what’s realistic.
What’s the difference between CDT and botanical terpenes?
CDT (cannabis-derived terpenes) come from the plant itself and stay true to the actual strain, our preferred option. Botanical terpenes come from non-cannabis sources and can hit flavors CDT can’t, like blue raspberry or sour gummy. Both are available.
How much extra lead time does infusion or coating add?
The 2 to 4 week / 8 to 12 week range stays the same as non-infused. What changes is daily throughput: 15,000/day non-infused, roughly 12,000/day infused (about 20% less, same line, slower speed), and 10,000/day infused & coated, run by a completely separate hand-coating team with its own independent capacity.
