Built for Batteries We Don’t Control

Built for whatever battery it ends up on.

A cartridge is different from a sealed device in one real way: it has to work on whatever battery your customer’s end user already owns, not one we build or control ourselves. The connection point is where that gets real. If the center pin doesn’t sit at the right depth against a given battery’s pin, you get “no contact,” no vapor, even though the cartridge screws on fine. Coil resistance has to perform across a realistic range of battery voltage output too, not tuned to one reference battery in our own lab. We build and test against that range, since we don’t get to pick which battery it ends up on.

Hardware

No catalog. Your exact spec.

We don’t stock a fixed hardware catalog. Whatever cartridge spec you need, we source it: size, coil type, color, tip type, tip color, matched to your exact spec rather than picked from a limited stocked selection. We work directly with vape hardware providers overseas, so if you want something custom designed or even custom built, that’s a real conversation we can have, not just a spec sheet to pick from.

510 thread is the industry standard for a reason: it works with virtually any compatible battery on the market, so your customer isn’t locked into one proprietary system.

Coil options run the full range available on the market. Ceramic (cleanest flavor, the standard choice on premium cartridges) and quartz (heats faster) are the two most common, and we source others to match your spec.

Fill Options

Four base materials, terpenes on top.

Four jars of distillate, resin, rosin, and liquid diamonds concentrate

Distillate

Highly refined, very high THC percentage, minimal natural flavor unless terpenes are added. The most consistent potency option.

Resin

Extracted from fresh-frozen flower, keeps more of the plant’s original terpene profile than distillate does.

Rosin (Solventless)

Heat-and-pressure extraction, no chemical solvents involved. Generally the highest cost of the group.

Liquid Diamonds

Crystalline THCA suspended in a liquid terpene base. The most potency-forward option.

Terpenes are never used alone, they’re added to one of the four fills above. Cannabis-derived terpenes (CDT) stay strain-true to the actual flower, our preferred option, though they cost more. Botanical terpenes come from non-cannabis sources and hit flavors CDT can’t.

We don’t stock hardware, so almost everything below is sourced to your exact spec rather than chosen from a limited catalog. Fill material and packaging compliance are the only two constraints that don’t flex.

Capacity

Up to 5,000 cartridges a day.

Process

Six stages, filled and finished.

  1. Quote & Sign

MOQ, pricing tier, and timeline all get fixed in writing before anything moves.

  2. Onboarding

Specs, vendor qualification, label review, METRC setup.

  3. Inputs Land

Your fill material and hardware arrive, or we source them.

  4. Pre-Production Sample

You approve a sample before full production runs, no exceptions.

  5. Fill & Finish

    Cartridges filled, capped, and finished.

  6. Release

    Tested, cleared, shipped.

Lead time follows the same supply-dependent logic as every other line: the more you supply, the faster it goes. Faster when you supply tested, ready fill material and hardware, slower when Gotham sources any of it.

Labels & Packaging

Same system, every line.

Same print-and-apply system as every other line we run. Lab results land 7 to 12 days out, so most brands print their primary label before results are back rather than lose two weeks waiting. The primary label carries your brand design; a separate print-and-apply label carries the batch-specific numbers, THC%, CBD%, TAC%, lot number, manufacture and expiration dates, solvents used, plus the mandatory METRC RUID, applied the same day results come in. Bringing your own fully print-ready, OCM Part 128 compliant labels works just as well.

Verify Before You Sign

Verifying Any Manufacturer in This Category

A real problem in this category: people quoting fill capacity they don’t have, or citing a license that isn’t theirs. Check three things before signing with anyone.

  • The actual license number. Ours: Tier 2 Processor OCM-PROC-24-000200, Distributor OCM-DIST-25-000134, verifiable on the state’s cannabis dashboard.
  • The facility address behind that license. Ours: 55 Corbin Avenue, Bay Shore, NY.
  • Whether they can produce a real METRC registration for the batch, not a promise one exists.

Looking for a CBD Manufacturer?

Not selling THC? Just need CBD? We can do that too: same production lines, same specs, no cannabis license required to buy or sell.

Vape Cartridge Manufacturing FAQ

What’s the difference between distillate, resin, rosin, and liquid diamonds?

Distillate is the most refined and most consistent on potency. Resin keeps more of the plant’s natural terpene profile. Rosin is solventless, generally the priciest. Liquid diamonds are the most potency-forward. Terpenes are never used alone, they’re added to whichever of these four you pick.

Does resin or rosin need different hardware than distillate?

Yes. Higher-viscosity fills like resin and rosin need ceramic coils and wider intake ports specifically, standard distillate hardware isn’t built for them.

What’s the difference between ceramic and quartz coils?

Ceramic reads cleaner on flavor and is the standard choice for premium cartridges. Quartz heats faster.

Do I have to choose from a limited hardware catalog?

No. We don’t stock hardware. Size, coil type, color, tip type, tip color, all sourced to your exact spec rather than picked from a fixed selection.

Can you build a fully custom cartridge design?

Yes. We work directly with vape hardware providers overseas, so custom-designed or custom-built hardware is a real conversation, not just picking off a spec sheet.

Can I supply my own hardware?

Yes, that works too. Or tell us your spec and we’ll source it.
