Two Paths, Both Real
Locked recipe, or build one with us.
Most brands arrive with a locked recipe: concentration, ratio, target effect all decided, ready to spec out on Build a Product. That’s the default, and it’s the faster path.
If you don’t have that yet, that’s what this page is for. We develop it with you, from a target effect and a price point through to a real, tested formulation, not a guess dressed up as a recipe.
What We Develop
From vape mixes to custom hardware.
Real formulation work, sourced from the same engineering problems that show up across every format we manufacture:
- Vape mixes. Distillate, resin, rosin, or liquid diamonds, dialed to a target potency and effect, not picked off a shelf.
- Terpene blends, for infused pre-rolls and vapes alike. CDT for strain-true profiles, botanical for flavors CDT can’t hit, or a custom blend of both.
- Pre-roll formulations. Correct trim ratio to hit a target cost and potency without the finished product showing it.
- Custom binder and coating blends. The same work that produced Gotham’s own H5P Blend and Solventless Blend, available for a brand that wants its own proprietary blend instead of picking from what already exists.
- Custom hardware development. We work directly with vape hardware providers overseas, from a rough concept through a real, physical pre-production sample, for a brand that wants something nobody else is running.
- Stability work, across every formulation type: shelf life, degradation testing, real data before a brand commits to a full production run.
This list is a live, evolving scope, not a closed menu. New formulation requests get evaluated on their own merits, not filtered against a fixed catalog.
The H5P Blend, as Proof

H5P Blend wasn’t licensed from anyone or bought off a supplier list. Gotham’s own team developed it, refined it over years of real production, and it’s the actual binder running inside High 5’s, GG’s own #11-ranked infused pre-roll brand in New York (Lit Alerts). It cures in 24 hours, holds a coating through shipping and shelf time better than the industry-standard shortcut, and it exists because Gotham does exactly the kind of R&D work described on this page, not as a side capability, but as the thing that built its own flagship product.

Formulation R&D isn’t exclusive to THC. Formulations that stay under the legal THC threshold qualify as CBD rather than cannabis, with no OCM license required to buy or sell, and the same development process and testing rigor apply either way.

Yes. We work directly with vape hardware providers overseas, so a custom device concept is a real conversation, through to a physical pre-production sample.
Do you test for shelf stability before we commit to a full run?
Yes. Stability and degradation testing is part of the formulation R&D process, not an afterthought added after production starts.
